There are three types of software and drivers available for download in Philips GoGear Micro jukebox HDD1630 6GB download page:

1. Device/Firmware Manager

   Device Manager version 5.3 is meant for for HDD1420, HDD1620, HDD1630, HDD1635, HDD1830, HDD1835.

   The firmware files (version 2.4) enhancement:

   1. Loss of content after transfer due to database corruption on the player
   2. Solving the problem with occasional hang up when powering on the player from standby mode.
2. PC Software

   Philips plug-in version 3.14.00 for HDD1420, HDD1620, HDD1630 & HDD1635 offers the following enhancements:

   1. Improve further on disk space management on PC
   2. Solving the conflict with Photoshop.
   3. Improve further on PC resources management
   4. Solving the occasional picture synchronization problem
   5. Fixing the MTP Device Name.
   6. Solving the Image distortion problem.
   7. Improve the database efficiency.
3. Firmware Upgrade Software:

   This is a redundant update because the included firmware version 2.1 is superseded by firmware version 2.4 from Device/Firmware Manager.
