Description

According to what I have found, PP31L is actually the model number for Dell Studio 1735 notebook. (Refer to page 60 of this Dell Studio 1735 PP31L Quick Reference Guide PDF. If we were to find PP31L driver directly on Dell website we might not be able to find it because Dell is using Studio 1735 as the searching criteria when doing driver search.

After finding out PP31L is actually refering to Dell Studio 1735, the job to find the monitor driver is easier. This is what I have found out about Dell Studi 1735 PP31L monitor:

1. There is only Windows Vista support for Studio 1735 display. (No mention of Windows XP support, either XP already natively supported PP31L driver or you can try this version.)
2. Two types of video configurations, namely Intel GM45 (Intel build in display, slower?) and AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 (Dedicated video, faster I guess).
3. Both drivers are dated back to year 2008 and applicable for both Dell Studio 1535 and 1735 models.
4. Other video related drivers for PP31L is AVerTV Hybrid NanoExpress (ATSC or DVB-T) and Broadcom BD Accelerator solution.
