Description
This is the latest version (revision A11) Intel chipset driver updates for Dell series of PC including Dimension 2350, Dimension 4550, Dimension 2400, OptiPlex GX150, OptiPlex 160L, OptiPlex GX240, SmartPC 350D and SmartPC 450D.
What this chipset update does is adds software support for the newest Intel Chipsets.
Chipset Driver Update Installation Process
- Download the driver file dell-dimension-2400-chipset-driver.zip, extract it and double click to run the driver update.
The Self-Extractor window appears. - Click OK or Continue. The Self-Extracting Driver Installation window appears and prompts to extract files to C:/DELL/DRIVERS/R47822.
- Leave all of the default settings and click Unzip or OK. If the directory does not exist, you will be prompted to create one. Click Yes. A Self Extractor window appears and indicates C:/DELL/DRIVERS/R47822 files were extracted.
- Click OK.
Follow the on-screen installation instructions in the window.
