This download is a driver providing Microsoft® Windows® Vista™ 64-bit and Windows Vista 32-bit support for Creative Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ series of audio devices. This includes

• Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro
• Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty
• Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum
• Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic
• Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer

So if you own any of the above Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi sound cards, you can use the Windows Vista driver.

If you own X-Fi Xtreme Audio,DO NOT install this driver. I do not know why. The readme says so.

This new Vista driver provides the following features:

• X-Fi Crystalizerâ„¢
• X-Fi CMSS®-3D
• MIDI Playback
• EAX® Effects
• PCM stereo output through optical out
• Line-in connectivity
• Recording capabilities.

As usual, make backup of your important files before making any changes to your system. After you have download the setup executable, run it and follow the on-screen instruction to finish the setup.
