Description
For Windows 7 (32bit/64bit) Canon IP 1600 printer driver, you will find additional functionality after installing the new software. The new module will expand functionality such as enable you to set up compensation and processing functions for image data such as photographs.
As mentioned in both Windows 7 and Windows Vista driver sections, the file available for download is just the add-on module, I think that means the driver for Canon IP 1600 is already included on Windows and you do not need to download a driver. However if you need the extra functionality provided by the add-on module, you can just download and install them to enhance the basic function of original driver.
For Windows XP and Windows 2000 (as well as older edition of Windows), you are actually downloading the real driver. So you will need to download and install the driver for your Canon IP 1600 before you can actually print from the printer.
