I am writing because i have recently gotten a canon A530 for my birthday from my boyfriend he did not keep the reciept i dont want to return it i love it but it didnt come with the disc to load into my computer to download pictures from the camera. Can you please tell me how i can get that disc? thank you
Hi Brandy,
You can transfer the pictures to your PC from Canon A530 via two ways:
1. Take out the SD Memory Card or MultiMediaCard from A530 and use a card reader to read it into your PC. This is faster and more preferable.
2. Use a USB cable to connect between the Canon A530 and your PC. I believe no driver is needed because in Windows XP or Vista (not sure so you may need to try), your A530 will be recognized automatically and you will be able to transfer your pictures easily.
Or if you prefer to have a driver CD, you may contact Canon on your country to have the CD. I do not know how much it cost but you can always ask.
