Description
For Acer Aspire 5315 notebook, there are two types of wireless LAN chipsets used inside: Atheros and Broadcom.
Anyway, I have included the drivers for both types of chipset so you will not have to need to download separately. Driver for each Atheros and Broadcom is stored in each folder:
/Wireless_Atheros_802BG_v7.3.1.42_Vista
/Wireless_Broadcom_802BG_v4.150.22.0_Vista_XP folder.
The drivers are compatible with Acer Aspire 5715Z notebook too, just in case you have the model.
Installation Guide
- Download the driver rar file: acer-aspire-5315-wireless-driver.rar
- Extract to c:/
- You will find two folders for Atheros and Broadcom. Select the one that match your configuration.
- Run setup.exe to start the driver installation.
- Follow on screen instruction to continue.
