Description

Below is the installation guideline for 3Com 3C920 Driver on Dell Inspiron and Latitude, Fast Ethernet Controller:

  • Download the R49651.EXE.
  • Double-click R49651.EXE file.
  • The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\r49651. Remember this path so the executable (i.e. Setup.exe) file can be found later.
  • The Self-Extractor window appears.
  • Click [OK] to continue.
  • After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor window is still open, close it.
  • Click the Start button and then click Run.
  • Open Windows Explorer and go to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\r49651. Look for setup.exe and double click on it.
  • Follow the on-screen installation instruction and you will complete the installation in no time.
