If your Acer Extensa (I do not know they still have this model, at lease not in my country) is using a Realtek audio chip and you need the Windows XP driver, you are in luck because Acer has just release a driver on Feb 2008 (less than one month ago).

Seems that this Realtek audio driver is compatible with other Acer Extensa/TravelMate models as well, such as Extensa 4120, Extensa 4420, Extensa 5120, Extensa 5420, Extensa 5620, Extensa 5620Z, Extensa 5620G, Extensa 7420, TravelMate 4520, TravelMate 5220, TravelMate 5220G, TravelMate 7220, TravelMate 7220G, TravelMate 5720 and TravelMate 5720G. So if you have any of the above Acer notebooks, you can try to install this driver too.
