Description
There are two versions of firmware for BenQ DW1620 drive: OEM/Bulk version and Retail version. This driver is meant for Bulk version. See BenQ DW1620 Firmware for Retail Version for the firmware.
How to check whether you have a bulk version of BenQ DW1620. Easy, for bulk version, the BenQ brand is not displayed on the tray of the drive. See image below:
Changes on the firmware are as follow:
- Improved the compatibility with nForce chipset.
- Fixed \"no data found\" issue of a CD-R disc which burnt by Nero and Simulation mode is selected.
- Added support for MJC 16x DVD+R, Giga 16x DVD-R & Ritek 16x DVD-R F1 media.
