Description
Please be aware you need to use different version (32/64bit) of AuthenTec fingerprint driver for your Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP.
After installed the finger print driver, your fingerprint device will be enabled. Below are some of the changes in the latest version of the driver:
- (New) Modified help file for Windows 7 support.
- (Fix) Fixed an issue wherein the Lenovo Fingerprint Software doesnt work normally if WBF (Windows Biometric Framework) driver was installed previously.
- (Fix) Fixed an intermittent issue wherein the Lenovo Fingerprint Software\\\'s GUI doesn\\\'t show at POST.
To determine current Lenovo fingerprint driver version installed
- Click Start, then go to Control Panel.
- Go to Hardware and Sound then select Lenovo Notebook Fingerprint Reader.
- Click About menu.
- Then you will see the driver version.
