Keithley models 179 and 179-20A digital multimeter are versatile and useful for measurement of ac and dc voltage, ac and dc current and resistance.
The user manual for Keithley 179 (and 179-20A) is dated back to year 1980 and seems that this PDF manual is a scanned version of the original hard copy/paper manual (you can even see the comb binding mark on some pages).
Fortunately OCR (Optical Character Recognition) has been done on the PDF manual, thus you can do text search within the PDF manual. However I find that some sections are still no text-searchable, for example the specification page on page 5 is just an image.
