Description

There are two models of MSI MS-6734 motherboards listed on MSI website: KM4M-L and KM4AM-L.

Upon looking into the download page for each models of MS-6734 motherboards, I found that both are using the same sound chip: Realtek ALC Series AC97 Audio. Further checking verified that both drivers are the same, which means work on both models of MS-6734.

One thing funny is, although MSI listed the XP/2000 driver and 64bit XP driver separately, there are actually referring to the same file. So please take note of this when installing.

Installation Steps for AC97 Sound Driver in MSI MS-6734 Motherbboard

1. Download and open the driver file Realtek_AC97_MB.zip
2. Look for setup.exe, run it
3. Realtek AC97 Audio Setup program will start, follow on screen instruction to complete the installation.
