Description
Canon has listed two user instruction manuals for its HG10 HD camcorder. One is newer (12/11/2007) with version number 1.0 while the other one is older (10/11/2007) but with version 1 (minus the .0).
As we always refer to the latest information, we are referring to the newer version of the user manual here.
The instruction manual is in three languages: English, French and Spanish and is 118 pages long. As this is a HD (High Definition) camcorder, Canon has put a very detailed and informative page on HD in page 5. It is worth reading for those who are new to HD (like me).
For normal users, a quick flipping to page 8 will find yourself the TOC (Table of Content) where you can easily see the title of each chapters. This is the quickest way to find the information you need on Canon HG10 without reading the whole 118 pages.
Canon also advice the users to read the instruction manual carefully BEFORE using the camcorder and you should retain the manual for future reference as well.
