Looking for Way to Turn Sony DCR DVD108 into a Webcam
A lot of Sony DCR DVD108 camcorder users are wondering how to use their DCR DVD108 as a webcam using their PC or MAC. Well, here is what I found on Sony website (under DCR DVD108 eSupport page):According to Sony: Depending on the Sony camcorder being used, it may be possible to use it as a webcam for video conferencing using one of the connection methods listed below. Refer to the operating instructions supplied with the product for model-specific information about product features.
So seems that we need to consult the operating manual for DCR-DVD108 to find out whether this can be done. Lets see...
Well, after download and search thru the manual, I did not find any occurrence of the word [webcam] mentioned on the manual. Looking thru the table of content, under the chapter [Using a Computer] -> [What you can do with Windows Computer], there is no mention of using Sony DCR DVD108 as a webcam.

Finding and Results
Based on my finding in Sony eSupport website and DCR-DVD108 Operating Guide PDF file I downloaded from Sony website, seems that Sony DCR DVD108 is unable to be used as a webcam. Well, maybe there are some third party software or solution that can do that.
