Description

In the downloaded exe file, you will be prompted to unzip the contents to c:/flash/v805293i/ folder.

In the folder, you will find two .bin files (the updated firmware files), USB_Flasher.exe, upgrade instruction PDF as well as an USB driver file, pxprjusb.inf and pxprjusb.sys. You will need these files to successfully update your Infocus LP240 firmware and USB driver.

USB Driver Installation

1. Make sure you have connected the USB cable between the computer and the projector.
2. If this is the first time you have connected the projector to this computer, the [Found New hardware] wizard will appear.
3. Follow the instructions and select the pxprjusb.sys file that is located in the same directory as the upgrade software.

Infocus LP240 Firmware Update Process

1. Connect the USB cable between the USB port on the projector and the USB port on the computer.
2. Do not attach the power cord on the projector at this stage. If the cord is plugged in at this point, the upgrade will not start.
3. Run USB_Flasher.exe and select P5_Release_805293I_125.bin
4. Click Next and The Select Link Type dialog box appears, telling you that the upgrade program is ready to begin.
5. Make sure you have connected the USB cable between the computer and the projector.
6. The computer begins downloading the upgrade files to the projector.
7. When the upgrade finishes, click the Finish button.

Check your Infocus LP240 Firmware Version

1. Unplug the USB cable from the Computer, then power up the projector.
2. On the projector keypad, press the menu button to display the OSD menus.
3. Press the down-arrow key to highlight Settings, then press the Select button.
4. In the Settings menu, select Service .
5. In the Service menu, select Service Info.
6. The Service Info dialog box displays the software Version number (805.308x), SW build (1.94 in this example) and the Logo version (805xxxX).
