Description
SAA7130 TV Card is the generic Phillips chipset use in a number of TV cards. According to a post in techimo.com, you can actually download the FlyTV platinum drivers from LifeView. The poster claims he has a generic card with that same Philips SAA7130 chipset and they work perfect for him, even his remote works!
I do not own a SAA7130 TV Card thus I am not be able to check if the driver for LifeView FlyTV Platinum is compatible with SAA7130 TV Card. So do try on your own risk.
If you have no idea on how to update the SAA7130 driver, the easiest way is to use DriverScanner which will help you identify your SAA7130 model information correctly and then locate the most recent Windows driver for it.
For LifeView driver, it contains TV / Video viewing feature, still image capture and motion video recoding to MPEG1/2 function. Driver is WHQL certified.
Upon installing the driver, the setup program will actually try to scan your PC for any TV card device to be updated. So if your SAA7130 TV Card is not supported, I suppose you will receive this message:
[The device driver installation wizard successfully scanned your machines but did not find any devices to be updated]

i lost divers
The lifeview website doesn’t work anymore. I have gotten so worked up trying to find a driver but my searches always lead to websites not working or adware.

I just tried the download site. Seems that Lifeview websiteis temporary down. I think this might be temporary.
Sorry I do not have the driver at my hard disk. I will try to find another download link and will update it if I got it.
I’ll keep trying too. If i do get the drivers, i’ll find a more reliable site to upload them to, lots of people have had the same problems as me.
Do you know when the website was up last? its been 2 years since the launch of the product, i’m wondering if its just gone obselite….

Thanks for the info, Dan. Please share with our readers if you successfully located the driver. Shame to say but I failed to find the driver ;(, really regret not keeping a local copy then…
Has anyone tryed contacting the company inforing them of their cheap and nasty mistake?
If i do find it, i’ll upload wherever possible.
Just had a thought, I’ll give torrents a try to see if someone has uploaded a mass selection of drivers. Alternatively, can someone try the P2P programs? I cant connect due to my dumb ISP!

Hi all, I found the drivers. Best yet, its an exe file so its a no brainer.
